Attendees will enjoy time for community networking and breakfast by Fannie’s Cafe followed with a talk by Kevin Clark. Six Corners Association will announce its candidates for the 2016-2017 Board followed by a member vote.

Kevin Clark, Lakota Group
Kevin Clark, AICP, will address our Six Corners community on placemaking and people-centered development. An Associate Principal with The Lakota Group, Kevin’s work includes downtown, transit-oriented and neighborhood revitalization plans, physical and economic development strategies, and innovative design of open spaces and public places. Kevin is recognized for his focus on community engagement, placemaking and sustainable, contextual design. He has successfully orchestrated dynamic, interactive public processes that have resulted in the implementation of master plans.
Kevin has been a featured guest speaker at state and regional planning conferences and has contributed to multiple award-winning projects. His projects have won recognition from the American Planning Association, American Society of Landscape Architects, Congress for New Urbanism and the Chicago Building Congress.
Kevin earned his master’s degree in urban planning and policy from the University of Illinois-Chicago and holds a bachelor of science in landscape architecture from the University of Kentucky. He is a certified planner and registered landscape architect.
