The CFL Workers Assistance Committee provides help with resume writing, workshops, interview skills, career counseling, job leads and placement, and referrals to other services. Check your eligibility at the CFL website.

Speaking of jobs, the City of Chicago is hiring laborers in the Department of Streets and Sanitation. Pay starts at $19.50 an hour, and applicants must be 18.
