The Chicago City Clerk’s office launched the City Key ID program in April 2018. The new city ID will also act as a Ventra card and a library card. Cardholders can also receive an array of benefits at various businesses and organizations throughout the city.
Residents can begin scheduling appointments with the City Clerk’s office to apply for a CityKey. Additional mobile printing events will be taking place in neighborhoods across Chicago. I plan on hosting a representative from this program at the City Sticker sale in my office (4754 N. Milwaukee) on Friday, June 22, from 10 am to 2 pm. You can find additional mobile printing events by visiting the CityKey ID event calendar.
Finally, the City Clerk has compiled a list of answers to frequently asked questions available to view at their website.
