The Chicago City Clerk’s office launched the City Key ID program in April 2018. The new city ID will also act as a Ventra card and a library card. Cardholders can also receive an array of benefits at various businesses and organizations throughout the city. Residents can begin scheduling appointments with the City Clerk’s office to apply for a CityKey.
