Jefferson Park Forward had so much fun last year, that they’re once again teaming up with Lake Effect for their second annual JPF Home Brewers event.
The event will be held during their First Friday Happy Hour event in November and they are looking for some homebrewers willing to brew at least one beer for the occasion.
JPF will host the event privately and will also manage a beer judging context. The first place winner will get the opportunity to scale up their beer for public release with folks at Lake Effect Brewery, a JPF Business Member. Prizes will also be available for second and third place. As if that wasn’t enough, all home brewers who are not already members will be granted a free one-year membership with JPF. Last year, Phil Collins won with his Sheehan’s Farmhouse Ale, a golden-colored Saison beer.
